Art Exhibition
I'd like to show you a little glimpse of my first interactive art, Lantang Tanpa Suara (Loud Without Voice). Started from my thoughts about the lowest point of my life for years. I want to share Lantang Tanpa Suara with people who are afraid or ashamed of their problems.
I used a plastic body mannequin as the medium to record human struggles or social stigmas that they must deal with. People will write down their thoughts all over its body anonymously. Through the mannequin body, it won't judge or compare life because everybody has a right to be heard.
Like everyone else, the mannequin body has a story behind its long journey in this world. She wants to share her story and wants to be heard without judgment. She put her trust in everyone who read her. She hoped people would lean on her and share their burdens with her.
Many stories, both happy and sad, are attached to it. I hope the message got through to everyone who came and dared to write their anxieties on the mannequin's body.
